Suzani (Persian/Farsi word meaning "of the needle") dowery embroidery executed to perfection and of extraordinary symmetric beauty in pink, orange, green and purple thread of creeping vines pomegranates fan shaped palmettes and medallions of circular flowers filled either with discs or rotating stars. Elaborately decorated boarders. Mounted on fabric and stretcher.
